Meet the Pastor

Rev. Dr. Rinalda Farrar-Lewis

Rev. Dr. Rinalda Farrar-Lewis is a woman of God, a servant leader, and a living testimony of how God is still performing miracles. She has been faithfully serving as Pastor of Chalk Level CME Church since [insert month/year], and is now entering her second year of pastoral leadership with our congregation.

Dr. Farrar-Lewis is married to Rev. Melvin Lewis, and together they share a passion for ministry and service. She comes from a strong heritage of faith—her father, Rev. Dr. Joe Louis Farrar, served as a CME pastor for more than 50 years and as a Presiding Elder, and her mother, Dr. Edith Farrar, was a retired nurse, educator, and dedicated missionary within the CME Church.

She is highly accomplished academically, holding degrees in Christian Counseling, Education, Management, Psychology, Biology, and Biblical Studies. Her professional journey includes serving as a pastor, educator, counselor, school administrator, and even as a retired Navy veteran. Her heart for service is evident not only in the church but also in the classroom, the community, and beyond.

Through her preaching, teaching, and testimony, Rev. Dr. Farrar-Lewis inspires others to trust in God’s power and grace. She believes deeply in the mission of Chalk Level CME: to be a welcoming, loving church where everybody is somebody and Jesus Christ is Lord.
